Bangwa-Talingchan |
The 7.5 kilometres route is finalised with 6 stations, consisting of Bangwag, Krajomthong, Bangphrom, Intrawas, Borommaratchachonnani and Talingchan. No expropriation required. The impact study is scheduled to be concluded by September 2015 to be ready for the 2nd public hearing on the 28th September. The finding of the study will be presented to the cabinet to consider. Currently the project financing is still under discussion whether the Bangkok City should be solely responsible for everything or offering a joint venture to private companies. The line is expected to be available for the public use in 2021. |

The negotiation is now concluded that the responsibility of the project management will lie with the Bangkok City and it is not able to receive a financial assistance from the government. |

Karai – Minburi |
Currently these rail lines are monorail but additional system, eg Light Rail, will be integrated. The financing of the project will be in a form of joint venture between the state and private firms. Further studies on the project will be carried out and presented to the cabinet this August. It is expected that the construction bidding can take place in the 2nd quarter of 2016. |
