Poon Phol Group, a company who owns Future Park Rangsit revealed its plan to develop 400 rai of 600 rai of land it owns in Rangsit area into the “Rangsit City” over the next 10 years. Currently the 200-rai land plot is used for Future Park, Major Cineplex, markets, and residential flats. The plan over the next 10 years for the remaining land plot is to be developed into a commercial complex including; offices, a hotel, and other residential projects. The immediate project is a four-star hotel which is scheduled to launch next year, located next to Future Park Rangsit. The construction will be ready to start as soon as the environmental impact assessment permit is granted. The most recent project is the renovation of Future Park Rangsit which increased lettable retail area by 47 per cent from 150,000 square metres previously. Poon Phol Group also revealed that it is currently in a talk with Ikea for a store development closed to Future Park Rangsit.
