The additional approach road to the “Sri Ratch-Western Ring Road” expressway is under the consideration by the Ministry of Transport. The purpose of the expressway is to provide a direct access between the central Bangkok to Thonburi. The additional approach road to the expressway will be at Kampaengphet 2 Road providing an easier access for commuters to Prachachuen, Chaengwattana, and Wongsawang. The completion of the approach road is schedule to be in August 2016, same time as the expressway. However it is currently being reviewed as it is not in the original contract.
