A good sales result of the first half of 2015 attracts property firms to launch 54 new condominium projects worth of more than Bt 100 billion in the second half of this year in both Bangkok and suburbs. Despite the economic slowdown but due to a stable political situation and the demand from both the upper-income segment and foreign buyers, the growth is still maintained. Also locations being closed to the mass-transit system is a big factor that buyers take into a consideration. However, it is warned by the Thai Condominium Association president that property developers should investigate and mitigate risks if their buyers are speculator, as this may pose be a concern at the transferring of ownership when the condominium unit is ready in the future. Condominiums which are sold this year will be completed between 2017 and 2017.

LPN also saw a continuing growing demand from the lower and middle-income segments in the first half of the year and plans to launch new projects in the second half of the year. The location for these projects are still under study.
