The Stage Tao Poon Interchange is a high-rise condo of 36 floors with fully furnished units ready for immediate occupancy. Actual 1-bedroom show units of 26 and 33 sq.m. and 2-bedroom units of 56 and 61 sq.m., all with views, are open for visitors. Developed by Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., with Knight Frank Thailand Co., Ltd. as the sales agent, the project features a location that is convenient for travel, with the Tao Poon Interchange train station, which is a major transportation hub connecting the Purple and Blue Lines, a mere 3-minute walk away. Prices starting at 2.7 million baht make it appropriate for investment. The project has been designed for fully functionality and privacy in each unit, with Chao Phraya River views. The facilities enable residents to rest and relax with a 25-metre Infinity Edge swimming pool with a kids’ pool, sky-high fitness room, sauna room, library and garden surrounding the development. There is parking for up to 340 cars as well as 24 hour security, CCTV and a Key Access Card system – all of which enhance the residents’ peace of mind and safety.
The project is on Pracha Rat Sai 2 Road or Bang Sue-Tao Poon, which is an area that continues to grow. There are plentry of amenities available including Tao Poon Market, Or Tor Kor Market, Chatuchak Market, Tesco Lotus, Bang Po Hospital and the soon-to-open community mall Gateway Bang Sue. The latter project, which sits on 9 rai of land, has a value of 4 billion baht; there are over 400 shopping venues and restaurants as well as movie theatres, fitness facilities and space to park 1,200 cars (expected to open in 2018). The project also connects to several main roads; for example, Pracha Chuen Road connects to Ratchada Road, Rama 5 Road connects to Pradipat Road and Paholyothin Road, and Samsen Road connects to the Thonburi side. In addition, in the future, it will be easier and more convenient to travel to all parts of Bangkok as Tao Poon will be the connecting hub of three train lines, namely, the Blue Line (Bang Sue-Hua Lumphong), which is currently operating; the Blue Line (Bang Sue-Tha Pra), which is expected to begin operations in 2019; and the North Purple Line (Tao Poon-Bang Yai), which is currently in operation. Most recently, approval was granted to begin construction on the South Purple Line (Tao Poon-Kanjanapisek Outer Ring), which will run from Tao Poon Station past the new parliament building to Phan Fa Station near the Democracy Monument. The latter connects to the Orange Line serving Wang Burapha Station and the Blue Line all the way to Wong Wian Yai Station, ending at Khru Nai Station in the Soi Suksawat 70 area. The bidding process for the project will open at the end of 2017 and it is expected to be compete in 2024.
In the future, when the Central Bang Sue Station is complete, Tao Poon will be able to connect even more easily with other regions of the country as well as other countries. It can be said that the Central Bang Sue Station will be the largest transport hub in Bangkok, encompassing high speed trains, the Blue Line subway, the Red Line serving the outskirts of town, long-distance trains, and Airport Link trains serving Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang Airports. Moreover, the area around the station of around 305 rai will be increasingly developed as commercial areas, from office buildings to hotels and retails spaces. These developments will transform the area into one of Thailand’s important business zones.
